Congress Party will raise voice of Migrant Laborers

On May 14, Rahul Gandhi said that his party would raise the voice of Migrant Laborers. He also said that his livelihood has been adversely affected due to the Coronavirus Lockdown, in which case the party will ensure his help.

After lockdown, Migrant Laborers continue marching towards their native states.

Since the lockdown enforced on 25 March, hundreds of Migrant Laborers started marching towards their native states due to a lack of public transport. Presently, Indian Railways is running labor special trains. Migrant workers, pilgrims, tourists, students, and other persons are being taken from various places to their places of origin in coordination with the states.
