MP New CM: Shivraj Singh Chauhan was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for the fourth time after being elected the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party Legislature Party. He has become the 32nd Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Uma Bharti and former CM Kamal Nath also attended the program.

The media was not allowed to attend the oath-taking ceremony at Raj Bhavan. Shivraj and other leaders arrived here along with the MLAs. The election was first unanimously held in the presence of observers through video conferencing.
In the wake of the Corona crisis, the central leadership of BJP cleared Shivraj Singh Chauhan to be the leader of the BJP Legislature Party. After this, the formalities were completed. Gopal Bhargava proposed the name of Shivraj. After this, other leaders approved it. Everyone agreed on Shivraj’s name.
Shivraj said in the address after his selection that this is a very emotional moment for him. He was always an ordinary party worker. It is only possible in BJP that a general worker gets an opportunity to do such work.
Shivraj, along with PM Narendra Modi and Union Minister Amit Shah, thanked the senior leaders of the party and said that they have got this responsibility in challenging times.
Shivraj targeted the Kamal Nath government and said that this government has destroyed the state in a short time. Now everyone will work together for the development of the state. Work as a family member confidently and take everyone along. We will then move the state towards development and create history in the direction of Janakalyan. Referring to Corona, he said that this is the time of celebrations, not circumstances. We all have to deal with this disaster together.
The oath-taking ceremony is proposed at 9 pm. Earlier, Gopal Bhargava resigned as the Leader of Opposition. MP BJP President VD Sharma, Gopal Bhargava, Narottam Mishra, and MLA Gana were present in the legislature party meeting. Due to Karona, prominent leaders and MLAs including Shivraj arrived with a mask.
Gopal Bhargava gave a welcome address at the meeting of the legislature party. He brought back memories related to his tenure. He said amid laughter that the only prayer to God is that there is no longer any leader of the BJP, we should always be in government to serve the people.
All preparations have been made to administer the oath of Chief Minister to Shivraj Singh Chauhan at Raj Bhavan. For the moment he will be sworn in alone. Seating of a maximum of 40 people has been arranged. Each invited guest shall be seated in such a manner that there is a distance of at least one meter between them. If for any reason more than this comes, then the oath ceremony will be shifted in the hall of the Raj Bhavan. Arrangements have been made at both the lane and the auditorium.
